Dawn Mcfarlane has been a certified Total Immersion swimming coach for 11 years. She had been an ASA teacher for 14 years previously .She is a former triathlete herself and ran the London Marathon in 2007.
She has also coached a member of the GB triathlon team and accompanied a swimmer across the channel after he learnt to swim freestyle on a Total Immersion weekend workshop and developed his stroke technique at Tri n swim WELL.
In her spare time Dawn,also played women’s league football and netball but is currently not able to do any of the sports she loves due to an Achilles rupture in December 2015!
Gill Anderson has been a certified Total Immersion swimming coach for 11years and an ASA qualified swimming instructor for a year prior to that. She swam competitvely in her childhood .
Gill is a former triathlete who offers open water training in the Thames Estuary at Chalkwell and local lakes . She is currently working with a swimmer on the ASA World Class Athlete Program. She has crewed for one of her clients across the English channel in his Arch to Arc Triathlon attempt.
In her spare time she enjoys cycling, mountain biking , running and open water swimming and is always hopeful that time will allow her to train for another Olympic distance triathlon soon.
Mark Livings is a Freestyle Total Immersion coach , Mark works on a Wednesday evening and some Saturdays in the Studio and coaches in the open water sessions at TriFarm.
Mark has also been a beach and pool lifeguard and is currently a Health and Safety Advisor in the Rail industry.
His Hobbies are Surfing and open water swimming.
In 2012 Dawn and Gill spent five days with Total Immersion founder Terry Laughlin refreshing their qualifications . In Oct 2013 they had the pleasure of working with Terry again for 4 days on the new Faster Freestyle methods making them two of the most up to date Total Immersion swimming coaches in the world. They are both passionate about coaching and love the positive impact swimming well can have on customers lives. They will encourage you to set a goal and then help you achieve it.
