1-2-1 Coaching For Competitive Club Swimmers

Swim the way elite swimmers do in Freestyle ,Backstroke, Breaststroke or Butterfly. Develop a solid foundation of swimming efficiency and economy and become a “complete” swimmer. The emphasis is on correct stroke mechanics. Age 9 upwards

We also work on stroke rate, stroke length and use the Finis tempo trainer.

Freestyle.

We will work on improving stroke length ,balance and streamline, breath management, early vertical forearm, rotation and core power.

Breaststroke

Elite Breaststrokers spend most of the stroke cycle tightly streamlined below the surface, where drag is least and acceleration greatest.

We will teach you how to extend the body line ,narrow the leg kick, accelerate the hips and use the energy of your hip movement, keep the elbows high, anchor the hands and closely integrate stroke and breath.

Butterfly

Make butterfly a less gruelling stroke. We will teach you how to use integrated whole body movements, use gravity to let the chest sink and the hips rise, stay tall, streamline below the surface and swim forward.

Backstroke

We will teach you to swim in a balanced streamlined position, with a high tempo leg kick. You will learn to combine an effective patient catch with core power.
