Gill Anderson and Dawn McFarlane joined forces to establish Tri N Swim Well, located in central Rochford in 2008. Both accomplished athletes in the world of competitive swimming, Gill and Dawn wanted to share their extensive knowledge of this demanding full body workout and its health benefits; in addition to their wealth of experience, and all-round love of water, by offering expert coaching for ALL abilities from beginner to high performers at international competition level. The result of such determination? A one-stop swim centre designed to accommodate all aquatic objectives for both men and women.
They even operate a well-stocked shop that sells a huge range of wetsuits, plus a wide selection of open water swimming accessories. So whatever you want to achieve in the water, Tri N Swim Well can help.
1-2-1 coaching sessions take place in a specialist endless pool, heated to ensure a comfortable temperature for teaching. This facility includes two large changing cubicles, plus a separate disabled shower/toilet/changing area.
“We are proud of the fact that most of our business is generated through genuine, word of mouth recommendations from satisfied customers. We have strong links with a range of local swimming clubs, including 4Performance, East Essex Triathlon Club, JBR Tri Club, and the Chalkwell Redcaps open water swim meet group.”
Please note that appointments with Tri and Swim Well are required for all coaching sessions and wetsuit fittings.
If you want to pop in to shop our range of goggles, hand paddles or any other swimming accessories please always call ahead though as we sometimes have to leave the pool. For wetsuit sales and coaching, you must book an appointment
